If you'd like a bookplate with a "donated by..." message placed in the book, just add that to the notes when you purchase the book.

Although we have thousands of physical books available to students in our library, please don't forget that students also have access to ebooks through Sora on their school devices, using their Google login credentials. Do you have a suggestion for an ebook or audiobook that should be added to Sora? I've been a media specialist/teacher/librarian for more than 20 years. This is my fourth year at A2 STEAM.

My Story

I've been in love with books and libraries since before I can remember, spending weekly visits to the Ann Arbor District Library - West Branch to listen to stories read by my favorite librarian (it was much smaller then!)  At the time, the checkout limit was six books, and I took home exactly six books, every week. In high school I landed my dream job working at Nicola's Books (then Little Professor).  Becoming a librarian was an even bigger dream come true.

My passion for technology and makerspace equals my passion for books. I love learning about how to develop, build and make - whether it's podcasting, 3D printing or crafting. I also love sharing what I learn with students and colleagues; in the classroom, with colleagues at school, or at professional conferences. My passion for sharing even translated into a published book! My greatest hope is to inspire your students and help them - using books and technology - discover their own passions.
